BITCOIN EXCHANGERS will disable bitcoins buy / sell, bitcoin deposits and bitcoin withdrawals starting 1 August 2017

Some updates from Indian and Global Bitcoin exchangers related to Bitcoin Code Changes.
There may be a User Activated Hard Fork (UAHF) to increase the Bitcoin block size, it will also create a new coin, Bitcoin Cash otherwise known as BCC. This hard fork, if executed, will take place on August 1, 2017

Almost all BITCOIN EXCHANGERS will disable bitcoins buy / sell, bitcoin deposits and bitcoin withdrawals starting 1 August 2017. Some Exchangers will resume bitcoin buy / sell, deposits and withdrawals within 2 to 4 days. But it’s completely depending on cryptocurrency market stability.

 

COINSECURE – INDIAN BITCOIN EXCHANGER
Coinsecure will disable Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals from at 9pm IST on July 31st. All Bitcoin that have stored on Coinsecure will remain secure during a potential hard fork.
Coinsecure may pause all services for 48 hours to again ensure safety of customer funds during this potential hard fork.

UNOCOIN – INDIAN BITCOIN EXCHANGER
UNOCOIN Update – 26 Jul, 2017 (As per the update we received from Unocoin)
Unocoin may suspend it’s operations from 31st july till 4th of August due to potential fork in bitcoin blockchain.

 

ZEBPAY – INDIAN BITCOIN EXCHANGER
– Sending and receiving of bitcoins will be suspended on 1st August 2017 (from 31st July 2017, 10pm to 2nd August, 10am). So on 1st August, you cannot add bitcoins to your Zebpay app to sell. And you cannot withdraw bitcoins from your Zebpay app.
– Following activities should continue without disruption: 1) Rs deposit and withdrawal 2) Buying bitcoins 3) Selling bitcoins only limited to the bitcoin balance you already have before 1st August 2017 till we allow you to receive bitcoins again on 2nd August.

COINBASE – GLOBAL BITCOIN EXCHANGER
Coinbase plan to temporarily suspend bitcoin buy / sells, deposits and withdrawals on August 1, 2017 as the fork is likely to cause disruption to the bitcoin network. This means funds will be safe but users will be unable to access their bitcoin (BTC) for a short period of time.
