KOLKATA: Leading direct selling FMCG firm Amway plans to add ten new products specially designed for Indian consumer in this calendar year which will likely result in double-digit growth in FY17 in cookware, health, nutrition and skin care segments, a latest report by Edelweiss said.The report said Amway aims to triple its turnover over next ten years.
India is among top four markets in growth rate and expects the country will figure amongst the top three in next five years.
Amway will also set up 10-12 experience stores in partnership with Microsoft to showcase its range of products to distributors, business partners and customers.
Amway has over 140 products in five categories – personal care, home care, nutrition & wellness, cosmetics and great value products with almost 70% of its revenue coming from personal care, wellness and nutrition segments.
The company has set up its manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu and is committed to manufacture all its products locally.
